Ingredients

  • 5 lbs red potatoes
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • Tony Chachere to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • Cheese Whiz
  • Velveeta cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and slice potatoes into a large baking dish. Add diced onion and bell pepper to potatoes. Season with Tony Chachere and garlic. Cut butter or margarine into pats and place on top of potatoes and onion mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven, stir and top with Cheese Whiz and American Cheese and place back into the oven until cheese browns.
