Soft Molasses Cookiies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup Soft Shortening
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1/2 cup Molasses
• 1 Egg
• 2 tsp Soda
• 2 tbs hot water
• 2 cups Flour
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Ginger
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1/3 cup Cold Water

Preparation

Step 1

Beat shortening, sugar, molasses, and egg together well until creamy. Disolve soda in the hot water. Sift flour, salt, ginger, nd cinnamon together. Add dry ingredients to first mixture ulternating with the cold water. Stir in soda mixture. Drop by spoon.
