  • 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans)
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 4 T butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation

Step 1

Finely grind the nuts in a food processor. Mix with flour and butter. Pulse until mixed. Add the egg yolk and stir until incorporated.

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly butter a pie plate. Place dough in the middle of the dish and press into the bottom and up the sides to form a crust. Prick with a fork. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
