Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups long cooking oats, uncooked
  • 11 oz pkg butterscotch chips

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop by heaping teasponfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden. Cool slightly on baking sheets; remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
