Ingredients
- 1/2 c. breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1 celery stalk minced
- 1/2 small onion minced
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. Creole seasoning (Tony Chachere’s)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 8 oz. crabmeat
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 small red pepper

Step 1
Heat 2 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Add celery, onion, red pepper and cook until tender. Stir in flour, mustard, creole seasoning and cook for 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add crab, crumbs, parsley, and lemon. Form into 2-3 inch round patties. Cook in 3 tablespoon of butter until brown.
