Prepare batter and muffin pans according to package directions for 1 (17.1 ounce) package banana-nut muffin mix stirring 1 cup dried mixed tropical fruit, roughly chopped into batter. Spoon batter into prepared muffin pans, filling two-thirds full. Bake and cool muffins according to package directions.
