Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. sliced bacon, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 can (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 3/4 oz) pork and beans
  • 1 can (16 oz) lima beans, rinsed and drained

Preparation

Step 1

In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain and set aside. In the same pan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from the heat; drain.

Return beef to the pan. Add the onion, ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar and molasses. Stir in the beans.

Transfer to a greased 3 qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until beans reach desired thickness.
