Ingredients
- Ingredients for 1 person:
- 250 ml water
- 2 tsp. raw chia seeds
- 2 tsp. raw sunflower seeds
- 2 tsp. raw flax seeds
- 2 tsp. raw hemp seeds
- 10 walnut halves
- 1 small ripe banana
- 2 - 3 cups greens, packed (see note below)
- 1/2 cup frozen berries (berry/cherry/pomegranate)
- 1/2 cup other frozen fruit
- Some good combinations:
- mango/strawberry
- mango/cherry
- pineapple/pomegranate
- pineapple/blueberry
- pineapple/raspberry

Step 1
Add ingredients in order, beginning with water, in high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Note: If new to green smoothies, start with only 2 cups of greens, and begin with baby spinach. Spinach is the mildest green, so it is a good starting point when beginning green smoothies. When you get accustomed to green smoothies, begin adding in more intense greens, like baby kales, regular kale, chard, collards or dandelion leaves (very strong!).
