Grilled Cheese Fondue
Fondue is delicious served with doughy bread or crisp apple slices, but it's even better when accompanied by bite-sized grilled cheese sandwiches!

Ingredients
- grilled cheese sandwiches - prepared to your liking - cut into bite-sized pieces (I made bacon grilled cheese)
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and cut in half
- 1 cup dry white wine, beer, OR low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/2 lb gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded

Step 1
Rub the cut garlic over the inside of your fondue pot. Heat fondue pot according to manufacturer's instructions.
Heat the wine, beer, or broth in the fondue pot until hot.
Toss the shredded cheese with the flour and add to the hot liquid, handful by handful, stirring in between each addition until perfectly smooth.
Reduce heat according to manufacturer's instructions, so that the cheese stays melted but does not burn.
Serve fondue with bite-sized grilled cheese sandwiches.
