How to Make Healing Aloe Vera and Carrot Cream for Wounds and Sunburn

Carrot has also many benefits for the skin and is a common ingredient in many skin-care products. It has carotenoids and antioxidants that increase the skin’s immunity against sun and help in healing sunburn and wounds. It can be used as a topical preparation to treat your skin, and it is safe for sensitive skin.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup aloe vera gel
- 2 carrots
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- 1 tsp beewax
- 2 tsp emulsifying wax
- 1 tsp vitamin C powder

Preparation
Step 1
Grate the carrot and cucumber finely and place in a pan. Add the sesame oil and heat very gently for 20-30 minutes. Then strain and return the liquid to the pan. Add the beewax and emulsifying wax to the pan, and stir while they melt. Add the aloe vera and vitamin C powder and whisk until the mixture goes smooth and creamy. Pout into a jar and leave to cool. While cooling the cream will thicken.
How to use? apply generously on wound, sunburn or sore area, 2-3 a day.
Storage – the cream keeps up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
