Ingredients

  • Grind in food processor or meat grinder:
  • 2 medium conch (raw)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 raw tomato
  • 1/2 sweet pepper (peeled, cored and sliced)
  • 1/2 bird (hot) pepper
  • 1 rib celery
  • To this paste add:
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper

Step 1

Mix well and drop by spoonfuls into deep hot fat (375 degrees). Fry until light golden brown. Serve with hot sauce and caution!
