  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
