Texas Style BBQ Sauce

Comes from my San Antonio cookbook. Sweetener, onion & garlic are my addtions.
I use this in place of Famous Dave's Texas Pit.
Use it for marinating pork sirloin steaks and with beef brisket.

Ingredients
- Optional:
- 14 oz ketchup
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c cider vinegar
- 2 T worcestershire sauce
- 1 t salt
- 4 t chili powder
- 1 t pepper
- 2 t fresh lemon juice
- finely grated onion & garlic
- 2 t Splenda brown sugar

Step 1
Blend all. Simmer if desired, but this works as a cold mix when onion and garlic are "juiced" with microplane.
