Oreo Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients

• 1 large package Oreo cookies crushed
• 1 stick margarine melted
• 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
• 1 can chocolate syrup
• 1 large container Cool Whip
• 1 2-ounce package slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Oreo crumbs and margarine; mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup of mixture. Press mixture into bottom of 13 X 9 inch greased baking pan. Spread ice cream over crust. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Spread Cool Whip over top. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Garnish with almonds. Freeze for at least 12 hours before serving.
