Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 1 egg, Beaten
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/2 C Milk
- 2 T Shortening, melted
- 1 C Flour
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/3 C sugar
- 1/4 C flour
- 1 t cinnamon
- 3 T butter

Step 1
1. For the topping, mix 1/3 c sugar, 1/4 flour and 1 t cinnamon. Cut in 3 T butter, set aside.
2. To make batter, cream egg and sugar together 3 minutes. Combine milk and shortening. Combine dry ingredients, and add alternately with wet into creamed mixture to make batter.
3. Turn into a 9" layer cake pan. Sprinkle topping over batter.
4. Bake 375 deg. 20 - 25 mins.
