• 6 - 8 apples, sliced
• 1/2 c Sugar
• 1/2 t Cinnamon
• 2 T Butter
• 1 C Sugar
• 1 t Vanilla
• 2 Eggs
• 1 C Flour
• 1 t Baking Powder
• dash Salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place apples in a buttered 9 x 13 baking dish. Combine 1/2 C sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. Cover tightly with foil, bake at 400 deg 20 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, cream butter with 1 C sugar. Add vanilla and eggs, beat well. Sift dry ingredients tog., blend into wet mixture.

3. Spread dough over apples and bake additional 20 - 25 mins. longer at 400 deg. Serve warm.
