Clam Dip

By

Perfect Holiday Appetizer!

I do NOT like seafood, of any kind. But I make this dip for every holiday handed down from my Mother and EVERYBODY loves it. Does not tast clammy at all. Very good taste and can make spicy or not.

Goes great with Wheat Thins and Vegetable Thins or your favorite dipping crackers!

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

Drain clam juice into a small saucepan. Add lemon juice and let simmer.

In another pan, melt butter, add garlic and saute. Add clams and seasoning and SOME breadcrumbs. Pour most of clam juice in and mix well. Add more bread crumbs and juice until you get the consistency you want. DO NOT make it too dry.

Put in casserole pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Cheese will be melted and all along sides will be bubbling.

Serve immediatly.
