Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2-3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400.

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla together thoroughly.

Sift flour and salt together and stir into butter mix.

Add nuts to mixture and mix well.

Roll into 1 inch balls.

Bake on ungreased baking sheet until set but not brown about 10-12 minutes..

While still warm roll in confectioners sugar. Cool completely and roll in sugar again.
