Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp rapid or quick yeast

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add milk, butter, sugar, salt, flour and yeast to bread machine set on dough cycle according to manufacturers directions.

2. Remove dough from the machine upon completion of the dough cycle. Roll dough on a lightly floured work surface into a large, 1/4" rectangle. With a 2 1/2 or 3" biscuit cutter, cut into rounds. Brush each round with melted butter and then fold each round almost in half (with buttered side in), pressing on the fold.

3. Place on a greased baking sheet or in muffin cups, cover and let rise for 30-45 mins. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 12-15 mins.
