Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled, cut up
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 T sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3-1/2 cup ice water

Step 1
Using pastry blender, cut in all ingredients until coarse crumbs. Add 1/3 cup water, adding additional water 1 tsp at a time if necessary.
Divide dough in 1/2. Shape into flat rounds, cover, and refrigerate 20-30 minutes. Roll out, place in pie pan, crimp edges.
