M&M Cookies with Pecans

Ingredients

• 1 pound package plain M&M's
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup softened margarine
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Chop 1 1/2 cups of m&m's; save remainder for decoration. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream margarine and sugars until light. Add eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Add chopped candy and nuts.
Drop by rounded tsp onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake 350 for 6-7 minutes. Remove from oven and put 3 whole M&M's on top of each. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until light brown.
