Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups unsifted flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter with sugar, add vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. You may add chocolate chips or sprinkle with coloured sugar, before baking. Drop on greased and floured cookie sheets. Bake at 400F for 10-12 mins.
