Ingredients

  • 5-6 fresh tomatillos, fine chop (13 oz can drain, rinse, chop)
  • 2 T fine chop onion
  • 1 serrano or jalapeno pepper, seed & fine chop
  • 1 t snipped cilantro or parsley
  • 1/4 t salt

Preparation

Step 1

In small mixing bowl stir together tomatilos, onion, pepper, cilantro & salt. Cover & chill several hours or overnight, stir occasionally.

Store tightly covered in refrig up to 2 days.

Use as dip for chips or topping for main dish.
