Ingredients

2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter thoroughly. Add icing sugar and vanilla, beat well. Add flour and salt, blend together. Form into several rolls and wrap each roll in waxed paper. Refrigerate overnight. Slice and put on ungreased baking sheets. Decorate with coloured sugar. Bake 20 mins. at 300F.
