Chicken Noodle Soup- Mary Heather from BG 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 package mini carrots – washed and cut lengthwise in quarters
  • 1 package of full stem celery – washed and cut into small pieces -­ leaves included (I only used celery leaves, no actual pieces of celery)
  • 3 cloves garlic cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 3 boxes of chicken stock
  • 1 package frozen tender white corn
  • 1 cup chicken (already cooked or canned, whichever you prefer)
  • 1 small Package Reames Egg Noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste (definitely need both)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Saute carrots, garlic and celery in butter.
2. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil.
3. Add corn, chicken, seasonings, and noodles
4. Then reduce to a simmer until noodles are done.
5. Salt and Pepper to taste
