Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs round steak
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16oz) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded american cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Pound flour and salt into meat. Brown meat in a small amount of fat. Place meat in a shallow baking dish. Blend remaining flour with dripping in skillet. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook until it boils. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 350 F for 2 hours. Top with cheese and return to oven for a few minutes, until cheese melts.
