- Pizza dough or bread dough
- olive oil for top of rolls and to grease pan.
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
- mozzerella or provolone shredded or slices

Preparation
Step 1
For Bread:
Roll out dough
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet.
For single rolls cut dough into equal size squares, or use entire sheet to make one large roll.
For Filling:
Place slices of pepperoni down the center of each dough square, overlapping the slices. Place another row of slices next to the first. Place a piece of cheese on top of pepperoni. Roll the dough around the pepperoni slices, pinch the edges closed, and place the rolls on the prepared cookie sheet. Adjust filiing of pepperoni and cheese if making a large roll. Make slashes along tops of rolls to vent. Sprinkle top with italian seasoning.
Bake the small rolls in the preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly browned and the tops are barely golden.
Bake a large single roll for 25-30 minutes, until the bottom is lightly browned and the top is barely golden.
