Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 5 medium apples, pared and sliced
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Filling:
In a medium bowl, combine apples, milk and cinnamon.
In a large bowl, cut 1/2 cup butter in Bisquick until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture and pour into pan.

Topping:
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup Bisquick and sugar. Cut in 2 tablespoons butter until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.

Bake for one hour or until golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
