Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• Baked pie shell
• 1 pint fresh strawberries
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 10 oz. Sprite or Seven-Up
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 small package strawberry gelatin

Preparation

Step 1

Slice strawberries in half and line baked pie shell with berries. Cook sugar, cornstarch, Sprite and salt until mixture thickens. Add gelatin and cool slightly. Pour over berries and chill until firm. (Gelatin may be softened with a small amount of Sprite.)

Top with whipped cream or non-dairy topping.
