  • FOR GLAZE:
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 TBSP baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • sprinkles, optional

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12 inch bundt pan. or a fluted pan.

In a bowl, mix together milk, melted butter and eggs.

In a mixing bowl, add in flour, sugar, salt, nutmeg and baking powder. Add in milk mixture and beat until just combined.

Spread batter evenly into pan.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out nearly clean..with just a few crumbs.
Let cake sit for 15 minutes before removing from pan. Let it cool completely before adding glaze.

FOR GLAZE:
In a saucepan, over medium heat, add whipping cream. When the cream starts to bubble around the edge, remove from the heat and stir in chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Drizzle chocolate over cooled cake and if desired, top with sprinkles.
