Chocolate-Toffee Candy Cookies
- 36 saltine crackers
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 11-1/2 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts

Line a 15"x10" jelly-roll pan with aluminum foil; spray foil with non-stick vegetable spray. Arrange crackers in a single layer in pan; set aside. Combine butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Pour mixture evenly over saltines. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Let stand for a few minutes; spread chocolate evenly with a spatula and sprinkle with nuts. Chill; break into pieces.
Makes 3 dozen.
