Ingredients

  • 4 small kohlrabi, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup thinkly sliced kohlrabi leaves (set aside)
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp seasoned fine dry bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer half of the konlrabi slices on the bottom of a buttered shallow 1 quart casserole dish.

Layer with half of the onion, 3 Tbsp cheese, half of the whipping cream, half of the kohlrabi leaves, half of the salt and half of the pepper.

Repeat layers. Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs.

Bake, covered, for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes more.
