DOUBLE CHOCOLATE WALNUT CHUNK COOKIES
Got this recipe from a Canadian Living insert. Loved them. Brother Darren even liked them despite the coconut and walnuts !!

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 6 oz bittersweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup coconut
- 3 oz milk chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Chop walnuts and toast at 350 for 8 minutes. Cool
Microwave butter and bittersweet chocolate. Cool
Whisk flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder
In mixing bowl mix eggs and sugar for 2 minutes. Add chocolate mixture and vanilla.
Add flour mixture, coconut and walnuts.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes till crackly on top. Don't overtake. When removed from oven - pat down with spatula.
