Twinkie Cake

Ingredients

• Paste:
• 1 yellow cake mix
• 5 Tbs flour
• 1 cup milk
• 1 stick margarine
• 1/2 cup crisco
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake according to layer directions. Cool and slice each layer into 2.
Cook flour and milk to make paste. Cool and add next 3 ingredients. Beat together well. Add vanilla. Then beat well in mixer for about 15 minutes.
Frost layers and sides. Leave opening on top of cake and put 1 can cherry pie filling in center.
