Ingredients

  • Lemon frosting:
  • 1 cup 8 oz butter
  • 1/1 /2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tspn vanilla extract
  • 2 tspn lemon juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tspn baking powder
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1 can bluberry pie filling
  • 1 1/2 cup XXX sugar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 tblsp lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Cream 8 tlsp butter and add 1 1;2 cup sugatr

Beat until light and fluffy

add 1/2 tspn vanilla and 2 tspn lemon juice, 4 eggs and beat well

Add 3 cups flour, 1 1/2 tspn baking powder and 1/2 tspn salt

Mix well with mixer

Remove from beater and spread 1/2 of the batter into a greased jelly roll pan

Spread blueberry pie filling over the dough

With a tspn drop rest of batter here and there and spread

Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes

Remove and while warm glaze with lemon frosting

Combine frosting ingredients and spread

Cool and cut into diamonds
