Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- a little extra sugar to roll cookies in

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until it is very light and fluffy (this takes a few minutes at high speed).
Beat in egg, corn syrup and extracts. Add the flour, baking soda & baking powder and mix well.
Roll dough into 1" balls then roll the balls in granulated sugar.
Place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet about 2 or 3 inches a part.
Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 12 minutes or until they are just golden around the edges.
