  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 c tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sofrito
  • 1 packet (.18 oz) sazon
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 c cooked pinto or kidney beans drained
  • 1 1/2 c water

Preparation

Step 1

heat oil in saucepan over low heat. Add tomato sauce sofrito, sazon and pepper. Cook, stirring for about 3 minutes. Stir in beans, water and salt. Increase heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes or unitl sauce has thickened.
