Cheesy Pepperoni Dip

One of my favorite foods on the planet is pizza, I love it ho. I love it cold. Thin or thick crust. In any form or fashion. In true foodie traditio, I also love being creative with pizza. This recipe includes everything I wan in my pie-in the form of a mouth watering dip. It's cheesy, it's flavorful, and it's fun

Ingredients
- Pizza Crust Dippers
- 2/3 c. (about 2 oz) freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- 1 t. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 2 13.8oz cans refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- Cheesy Pepeproni Dip
- 12 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 c (4 oz) sour cream
- 2 t. dried oregano
- 1 t. dried basil
- 1/4 t. red pepepr flakes
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 c. prepared pizza or tomato sauce
- 1 1/3 c. chopped pepeproni
- 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 c. sliced scallions
- 3/4 c. (3 oz) shredded Cheddar
- 3/4 c. (3 oz) plus 1/4 c. (1 oz) shredded mozzarella

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425F.
To amke the dippers, combine the Parmigiano-Reggiano, Italian seasoning and garlic posder in a bowl. Set aside. \roill out one pizza dough on a lightly floured work surface and cut into 18 squares. Then cut each square in half diagonally to form 2 triangles Arrange the triangles on a baking sheet and brush each one with olive oil. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the triangles. Repeat with the remaining pizza dough. There will be a total of 72 triangles. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
To make the dip, whisk together the cream cheese, sour cream, oregano, basil, redpepper flakes, garlic, pizza sauce, pepperoni, bell pepper, scallions, Cheddar and 3/4 c. of the mozzarella in a bowl. \evenly spread out the mixture in a shallow 2 quart ovenproof dish.
Bake for 15 minutes until bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 c. mozzarella. Bake for 5 minutes more. Serve hot with the dipper.
