Ingredients

  • Barbecue Sauce:
  • 2-3 lbs. country style ribs
  • lemon slices
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp worchestshire sauce
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

Cut ribs in serving size pieces. Place in pan - do not cover - do not add water. Place lemon slice on each rib. Sprinkle chopped onion over all. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cook barbeque sauce for 15 minutes until thickened. Baste ribs every 15 minutes. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
