- 1 c blanched slivered almonds
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 T light corn syrup

Step 1
Line bottom & sides 8 or 9" cake pan with aluminum foil. Butter foil heavily; set aside. Combine almonds, butter, sugar & syrup in 10" skillet. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constatnly. Boil, stirring constatnly, until turns golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Working quickly, spread candy in prepared pan. Cool about 15 min. or until firm. Remove candy from pan by lifting edges of foil. Peel off foil. cool thoroughly. Break into pieces.
