Gloucester 1-2-3 Cake

Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cup milk
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Put all ingredients in bowl and beat smooth all at once, beat 8-10 minutes on high speed. A little more milk may be added if needed. Pour into well greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 3/4 to 1 hour.

Dust cooled cake with confectioners sugar.
