Slow Cooked Sausage Dressing

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pork sausage
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 7 cubes seasoned stuffing cubes
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 medium tart apple, chopped
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet, cook sausage, celery, onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain the fat and transfer the mixture to a large bowl; stir in remaining ingredients.
Transfer to 5-quart slow cooker coated with cooking spray. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or till heated through and apple is tender, stirring once.
