- 1 tablespoon + 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup dark corn syrup

Step 1
1. Line a 15-inch by 10-inch by 1-inch pan with foil; grease the foil with the 1 tablespoon butter. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt the remaining butter. Add the brown sugar, milk and corn syrup. Cook and stir until until a candy thermometer reads 250°F.
2. Pour into the prepared baking pan (do not scrape the saucepan). Cool completely before cutting.
*We recommend that you test a candy thermometer by placing it into a pan of boiling water. The thermometer should read 212°F.
