  • Chicken wings
  • Oil for deep frying
  • ½ cup Louisiana hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp vinegar (red or cider)
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp. ketchup

Step 1

Cut tips off wings; cut wings at joints; pat dry. In electric wok, heat oil to 375 degrees. Deep fry wings in batches for about 10 minutes or until nicely browned and crisp. Remove browned wings to a plate; drain oil from wok.

Meanwhile, stir together hot sauce, oil, butter, vinegar, garlic powder and ketchup. Pour sauce into wok and stir til butter melts. Add wings and gently toss for a couple of minutes until sauce is absorbed and wings are heated.
