Chocolate-Peanut Butter Popcorn

Inspired by DiB's Milk Chocolate Popcorn (Milk Chocolate Popcorn) and Mirj's Peanut Butter Popcorn (Peanut Butter Popcorn), I did a little guesswork and came up with a combination of the two. It's fantastic! It can be stored in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup (or golden syrup)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts

Preparation
Step 1
1 Preheat oven to 300F degrees. 2 Grease a large roasting pan. 3 Combine popcorn and nuts in prepared roasting pan. 4 In medium pan melt together corn syrup and sugar. 5 Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. 6 Add peanut butter and stir until mixed. 7 Pour over popcorn and toss well to coat. 8 Bake, stirring frequently for 30 minutes. 9 Loosen popcorn from pan and allow to cool slightly in pan. (I cooled mine in the refrigerator.). 10 Remove to a wax paper lined cookie sheet to cool completely. 11 Enjoy!
