- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can chicken broth

Step 1
Cook rice and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until rice browns lightly.
Add onion and bell pepper; cook until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat to low; cook for 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Season to taste.
