JELLO COOKIES

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin, any flavor
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix shortening, sugar, jello,eggs and vanilla together in a medium to large bowl.

Add dry ingredients and roll into 3/4-inch balls and place on a greased and floured cookie sheet.

Flatten each with glass that has been dipped in sugar.

Bake 6-8 minutes.
