Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Cook bacon and remove from oil. Add the onion and let it sweat. Once cooked, drain the grease, add the hamburger and brown, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Once the meat is browned, drain the fat from pan, add the bacon, and pour the meat, bacon, and onion into a medium size mixing bowl and let cool. Once cool, mix in the cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.

To wrap the egg rolls, brush water around all four sides of a wrapper to act as the glue and place it in front of you so it looks like a diamond rather than a square. Place 1/3 cup of the meat and onion mixture into the center of the wrapper. Add cheese. Roll by taking the bottom corner and tucking it under the filling. Then bring in both sides and continue to roll. *Your wrapper needs to be wet so it will stick and not come apart when cooking. Place the finished rolls onto a sheet pan with a wire rack.

Spray the tops of each eggroll with cooking spray and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown or you can deep fry for added crispiness.
