Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 cup water
- salt
- 2 cans Chick peas - drained and rinsed
- Garlic - minced or crushed
- Paprika
- Chicken broth
- Salt/pepper
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Saute rice in vegetable oil.
Add generous amount of salt and water.
Boil 5 minutes and then cover with towel wrapped lid. Simmer about 15 minutes more.
Put chick peas in pot and add just enough broth to cover.
Add garlic and generous amount of paprika.
Cook until most of liquid is gone.
