Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 1 Package Pillsbury Frozen pie crusts Thawed 2/3 Cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- 1 egg Lightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. Flour - all purpose
- 6 apples Tart - Granny Smiths Peeled, cored, slice
- 3 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 cup Walnuts chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk all filling ingredients except apples in a bowl. Add apples. Spoon apple mixture into pastry shell.
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over filling.
Place second pastry crust on top.
Bake pie in center of oven until juices are bubbling and apples are tender - about 55-60 minutes. (Cover loosely with foil if the crust browns too quickly.
Serve warm or cooled.
